Pcchips a51g bios6/9/2023 my reaction to this was: yeahhhhhhh!!! and ?.Ģnd problem: On the motherboard there is the name and version number printed clearly in white: a15g v1.0, kapish.īut, upon opening cpu-z for the first time I notice that the version number there was v2.0. Computer starts up, no crashes, no issues, no nothing. Pissed, I decide to go ahead and install it anyway (note: this motherboard is NOT supposed to be compatible with the Brisbane version of 6000+, it doesn't even appear on the list).IT WORKS. I ordered a 3.0ghz Windsor, and I was shipped a Brisbane instead. One week later it arrives, and it is the wrong cpu. they are as follows:ġst problem: I upgraded my cpu, but here's the deal: Turns out I bought a cpu compatible with v1.0 of this board on Ebay. PCCHIPS a15g v1.0.(a cheap budget motherboard, yes)īIOS: Phoenix-Award Workstation BIOS v6.00PG 8/7/08Ĭurrently running: an AMD Athlon 64 x2 6000+ Brisbane I go on, there are three versions of this motherboard.
